About the Role
Gore Medical is hiring a Region Sales Leader to lead our sales & clinical efforts in the LatAm region. This role is pivotal in the development of regional sales strategy, including revenue & investment forecasting to achieve profitable growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the LatAm healthcare markets, particularly within the Interventional Cardiology, Endovascular, and General Surgery medical device markets, and a proven ability to lead and motivate sales teams. This position reports directly to the Americas Strategy & LatAm/Canada Sales Leader.
This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within Sao Paulo, Brazil or surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the LatAm market that is aligned with Americas Regional business objectives
- Lead and manage Gore’s Distribution network and Gore’s Field Sales & Clinical Associates across all product lines within the region by setting clear goals, motivating the team, and ensuring accountability to revenue targets and market expansion objectives
- Build and maintain credibility and trust with key physician thought leaders to support physician training & education and product adoption
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, distributors, and government entities, to foster long-term partnerships
- Lead and support dynamic change management, driving adoption of business tools such as Gore Business Systems (GBS) to achieve continuous improvement and to maximize revenue growth and efficiency
- Ensure all sales activities comply with Gore’s ASEC Guidelines and each country’s healthcare regulations, including ANVISA guidelines and public procurement laws
- Work closely with the marketing, regulatory, and product development teams to ensure sales strategies are aligned and supported
- Provide regular (weekly) updates and insights to the Regional Sales Leader on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives, ensuring transparency and alignment with broader business goals
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- Verbal and written English, Spanish, and Portuguese language capability is required
- Minimum of 10 years of sales experience within the medical devices industry
- Minimum of 3 years previous sales leadership experience
- In-depth knowledge of the LatAm healthcare system, including public and private sector dynamics, and a strong understanding of country medical device regulations, particularly ANVISA
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and market penetration
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and lead in a matrixed environment
- Strong forecasting skills and deep knowledge of appropriate tools (PPT, Excel, etc.)
- Extensive travel within the LatAm region is required, with occasional international travel for regional meetings. Must reside in Sao Paulo, Brazil or surrounding areas
