About the Role

We are looking for a Market Access & Health Economics Manager to join our Medical Products Division, across Latin America. In this role, you will be responsible for building strategic relationships and articulating the clinical, economic, and outcomes value of the company’s therapies and technologies. This role bridges scientific evidence (clinical, economic, and real-world data) with decision-making processes across payers, health systems, hospitals, and governmental/HTA bodies, while supporting internal teams with value-driven insights and access strategies.

 

This role covers the LATAM region. The candidate must reside in São Paulo, Brazil or the surrounding area. This is a remote position, and the Associate will work from home in accordance with business needs and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to support therapy adoption and coverage across public and private healthcare sectors
  • Actively participate in commercial negotiations and pricing table discussions with different stakeholders. Support launch readiness and expansion into new indications or populations
  • Communicate clinical and economic value to decision-makers and influencers Develop and tailor economic models (e.g., budget impact, cost-effectiveness). Translate complex evidence into clear, relevant insights for diverse audiences
  • Build and maintain relationships with payers, providers, KOLs, and HTA bodies. Lead value-based discussions aligned with stakeholder needs. Identify opportunities for collaboration and evidence generation 
  • Support the development and dissemination of real-world evidence and outcomes data. Contribute to study design, data analysis, and interpretation. Support publications and scientific communications
  • Provide guidance on documentation, coding, and reimbursement processes. Support appeals related to claim denials and payment rejections. Assist stakeholders in navigating coverage requirements
  • Train and support internal teams on reimbursement and value messaging. Provide scientific and technical support in line with compliance standards
  • Monitor changes in health policy, reimbursement, and payment models. Generate insights to inform access strategies and business decisions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (health, economics, pharmacy, business, marketing or related fields)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Market Access, HEOR, RWE, or reimbursement
  • Experience with real-world evidence (RWE), including study design, data interpretation, and communication of results
  • Strong understanding of market access and reimbursement pathways, including coverage processes and access barriers
  • Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate cross-functionally to execute business strategies and meet customer needs
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers and healthcare professionals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex evidence for diverse audiences
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills
  • Must be fluent in English; the interview will be conducted in English. Working knowledge.
  • Must reside in São Paulo or the surrounding area, Brazil

Desired Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge of Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR), including cost-effectiveness, budget impact, and value frameworks
  • Postgraduate degree (MBA or specialization)

 

This position offers a remote work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.
