About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Azure Integrations Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, implement, and support enterprise integrations primarily hosted in Microsoft Azure, with an initial focus on SAP and manufacturing and distribution systems.
You will join a technology enablement team, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver integrations that enable critical manufacturing and distribution processes and improve end-to-end system reliability. This role offers the opportunity to own integrations end-to-end in a regulated environment, emphasizing documentation, change control, and operational excellence. Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement scalable and secure integrations using TypeScript and Azure services.
• Lead and support integrations with SAP and other enterprise manufacturing and distribution systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure integration reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across multiple systems and environments.
• Follow development standards, architecture patterns, security best practices, and change control processes.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including interface specifications and operational guides.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for production integrations.
• Contribute improvements to integration patterns, tooling, and development standards.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and minimum 5 years of professional experience in integration or backend software development.
• Proficiency in TypeScript with significant hands-on experience in modern production environments.
• Experience delivering and operating integration solutions on Microsoft Azure services such as Function Apps, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, and Storage.
• Experience defining and managing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Experience integrating with enterprise systems, including ERP platforms such as SAP.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to create and maintain clear, structured technical documentation, including experience working in environments requiring formal change control and compliance practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with global teams and customers.
• Travel ~10%.
Desired Qualifications
• Current Microsoft Azure certifications are considered a plus, along with demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry best practices.
• Experience with SAP integrations; prior contributions to open-source projects or a demonstrated GitHub portfolio; experience working in an international, multi-cultural environment; and familiarity with Agile development methodologies are considered a plus.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools; knowledge of C#, Java, and/or Python; experience with behavior-driven development frameworks such as Gherkin/Cucumber; understanding of Docker and containerization for development and deployment; experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest; and experience applying security best practices in cloud environments are considered a plus.
