About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Director, Global Marketing Operations to architect, scale, and lead a world-class marketing operations and digital performance ecosystem for our Performance Solutions business. In this role, you will set the global strategy for marketing effectiveness, digital marketing maturity, performance intelligence, customer data quality, and marketing technology. As a key enterprise leader, this role ensures our global marketing organization operates with clarity, efficiency, and a unified digital-first, data-driven approach that accelerates growth and deepens customer engagement.

This role is located at one of our facilities in Newark, Delaware with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and/or lead the global vision, operating model, Marketing Performance Center of Excellence (CoE), and 3–5-year roadmap for Marketing Operations across regions, end markets, and customer segments
  • Build and lead a high-performing global MOPs organization and define the global KPIs, benchmarks, dashboards, attribution models, and campaign performance measurement
  • Lead brand management and partner with Communications, Product Management, Sales, and Business Leadership and provide executive-level guidance to regional marketing teams, ensuring alignment and consistency of standards, processes, and systems worldwide while directly supporting strategic growth objectives
  • Ensure continuous optimization of digital channels—including websites, marketing automation, CRM, paid media, SEO/SEM, social, and eCommerce tools—through data-driven recommendations
  • Translate complex analytics into strategic recommendations and business cases for investment, channel strategy, resourcing, and content priorities
    Global Campaign Planning, Execution & Enablement
  • Lead global campaign operations: including calendars, workflows, content operations, governance, and campaign orchestration while establishing scalable processes for integrated, multichannel campaign execution across regions and product lines
  • Own global marketing KPI governance, ensure marketing data quality, integrity, and completeness, align on global reporting, build and maintain executive dashboards, oversee the global marketing technology ecosystem, drive adoption and capability development across global teams, and ensure architecture supports future growth
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on digital marketing, automation opportunities, customer insights, digital channel performance, and marketing capability maturity
  • Support annual and long-range planning with funnel insights, performance trends, growth modeling, and investment recommendations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related discipline
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in marketing operations, digital marketing, demand generation, analytics, or related areas, including significant global leadership experience
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling marketing operations teams in complex, matrixed, multinational organizations
  • Deep expertise in digital marketing strategy, marketing technology ecosystems, analytics, automation, lead management, and measurement frameworks
  • Proven ability to define and execute KPI frameworks, marketing dashboards, attribution models, and performance maturity standards
  • Strong executive presence, influencing skills, and experience partnering with senior business leaders
  • Excellent strategic thinking, operational discipline, communication skills, and change leadership capabilities
  • Ability to travel 20%

Desired Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Experience in B2B, technical, industrial, aerospace, mobility, semiconductor, or materials-based markets
  • Experience driving digital transformation across global marketing or commercial teams
  • Expertise with platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Power BI, Tableau, Adobe Experience Cloud, CMS tools, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with Gore’s culture, decision-making model, and matrixed organizational structure
