About the Role

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to join our Aortic team within Gore Medical. In this role you will work in collaboration with a global marketing team, sales, marketing communications, legal, regulatory, and medical affairs to deliver on business objectives by:

  • Driving and executing branding/marketing strategies for the Americas Region including managing the product/brand P&L (e.g. budgeting, expenditures, profitability, ROI etc.)
  • Developing product commercialization strategies (e.g. pricing, licensing, distribution etc.)
  • Adapting global brand materials to the needs of the regional market
  • Analyzing potential markets, competitor positioning, and customer buying patterns to project demand/profitability for potential products, key product features/requirements, and favorable timing for product launch
  • Partnering with product development and marketing teams to ensure that customer needs for each targeted segment are incorporated into product design, branding, and marketing approaches
  • Identify and execute on market development opportunites
  • Serving as a regional expert in the product portfolio while engaging with customers in the field

This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States. 

Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting research to define targeted customer segments, journey mapping and determine the key values that drive buying behavior.
  • Developing product/brand positioning, associated marketing themes, and media channels that align with target customer demographics.
  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies/plans and overseeing development and distribution of marketing materials 
  • Identifying market opportunities, translating opportunities into product design, and driving branding/marketing strategies that result in a successful product/brand launch
  • Managing the product/brand P&L (e.g. budgeting, expenditures, profitability, ROI etc)
  • Partnering with product development and Global marketing teams to ensure that regional customer needs/values are incorporated into product design, branding, and marketing approaches
  • Partnering with Health Economics on market access and insight
  • Managing products from launch commercialization to device discontinuation
  • Presenting business performance and strategic recommendations to leadership
  • Lead interaction with Market Access and Sales to support commercialization activities
  • Communicating clinical, operational, and economic value through evidence-based messaging
  • Demonstrating expertise in product and procedure to support sales, training and education

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry focused on direct to healthcare professional marketing, product management, and/or other technical related experience
  • Demonstrated success with owning a product life cycle including forecasting, pricing, launch planning, product and marketing plans, and meeting revenue targets
  • Proven experience in creating new and adapting product marketing materials that align with the regional strategy and target customer needs
  • Proven experience in utilizing data and other insights to drive decisions associated with product life cycle and marketing plans
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills for internal and external communications with proficiencies in Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Excel, TEAMs
  • Ability to work and interact effectively across all functions in the business unit: business leadership, sales, regulatory, legal, marketing communications, and health economics
  • Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and communicate scientific or clinical publications and data
  • Ability to travel overnight both locally and internationally up to 30%

Desired Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Knowledge of Vascular (Aortic) therapies
  • Experience with a Medical Device Quality System environment

Specialization match Note: Incumbents in positions focused on managing incremental improvements to/expansion of an existing product or brand and short to mid-term (1 to 3 year) sales and P&L targets should be matched to this specialization. 

 

This position offers a remote work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed.  Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.
