About the Role
We are looking for a Field Sales Associate (FSA) to join PSD Automotive market face team. It requires strong strategic selling, key account management and market exploration skills.
The role will be located at our facility in Shanghai, China.
Responsibilities
1. Drive sustainable revenue growth with commercialized Automotive Vent and Catalytic Device products in China by creating a sustainable growth funnel.
2. Develop & expand long-term customer’s relationships with Lighting tiers and target OEMs. Build excellent connection/engagement with multiple functions’ decision makers at customer’s organization. To secure legacy vent business and explore new opportunities for NPD.
3. Keep exploring the new opportunities in Lead acid battery to fulfill customers’ unmet needs in Start-stop and energy storage battery. "Consultative selling" with technically oriented customers. Capture the opportunity with target customers in the funnel and explore new players beyond.
4. Partner with Product specialist to understand market needs on condensation management and water loss problem in lead acid battery. Provide insight into NPD development, further promote product to the market once it’s ready.
5. Partner with Application engineer to understand how to build up test capability for Lead acid battery customer base on needs.
6. Implement function excellence in SF (sales force) management, TSP (territory sales plan) and P&D (performance & development).
7. Plan, organize and prioritize sales territory using strong organizational skills and attention to details, including thorough pre-call planning with relevant team members.
8. Provide competitive intelligence: products, strategies, tactics, prices, terms, etc.
Required Qualifications
• University graduate. Technical or Engineering background will be a +
• 5 years + technical sales experience in related industrial market. Channel
(distributor) management experience would be a plus.
• Successful experience in selling to and managing large accounts. It would add
highly value to the track record of getting success in a harsh competition market.
• Successful experience in developing new customers, applications and opportunities.
• Good business acumen.
• Proven strategic & value selling skills.
• Good communication and Presentation skill in both Chinese & English.
• Good at exploring networking within an organization.
• People oriented and team cooperation spirit.
• 50% business travel.
