Supply Chain Merchandiser

We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our APAC Sitka® Supply Chain Team in Shenzhen. This role is responsible for executing the sourcing and procurement strategy for identified suppliers or categories, the end-to-end execution of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality premium apparel products.

The ideal candidate has a strong commercial mindset, deep understanding of apparel construction and costing, experience with EPR and PLM systems, and proven experience working with premium quality standards and tight timelines.

This position operates in a fast‑paced, multi-seasonal environment, supporting Sitka®, a premium apparel brand within Gore Fabrics.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate seasonal pricing on new and carryover styles, seasonal capacity, MOQs, lead times
  • Coordinate with vendors on production planning and capacity alignment
  • Create, review, and release purchase orders aligned with approved cost, MOQ, and delivery terms
  • Track PO status from order placement through production, shipment, and final delivery to ensure suppliers meet confirmed production milestones and delivery dates
  • Handle merchandising related documents, give shipping instructions and follow shipment and payment
  • Resolve production or quality risks proactively and escalate issues where required
  • Drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, delivery, and support product innovation
  • Partners with Product Development, Demand Planning, Compliance and Quality teams to resolve fabric, trims, capacity, or quality issues including data discrepancy

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or overseas Bachelor’s education preferred
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in garments or footwear within a supply chain, sourcing, procurement, product development, and production functions
  • Experience in sample development/production follow up and with direct factory production exposure
  • Deep knowledge of headwear, gloves or garments and technical packs
  • Proficiency in ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or PLM (e.g., Centric) platforms
  • Excellent negotiation skills with strong stakeholder communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work independently to drive initiatives, prioritize and multi-task, while maintaining a positive attitude and continuous improvement mindset
  • Nice to have experience in POWR BI and analytics supporting supply chain data will be an advantage
  • Travel required 5-10% but not frequently

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s degree, Oversea education or international working experience
  • Hands-On Experience with SAP or Oracle, POWR BI, Centric
  • Knowledge of Incoterms®
