About the Role

We are seeking a Talent Partner Leader to join our team, preferably in a hybrid capacity based in Phoenix or Flagstaff, Arizona, although remote consideration may be given. In this role, you will design, implement, and lead organizational talent strategies that align workforce capabilities with business priorities. The role partners closely with senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and functional leaders to strengthen leadership pipelines, develop Associate capabilities, and establish clear career pathways that enable long-term organizational success.

 

Serving a global organization, this role ensures talent initiatives drive employee engagement, retention, leadership development, and workforce capability, preparing the organization to meet evolving business needs.

 

The Talent Partner Leader is a strategic member of the Gore Medical HR Leadership Team, responsible for translating OpCo strategy into measurable talent outcomes that directly support business performance.

 

This role operates as both a Gore Medical talent leader and a hands-on Talent Business Partner aligned to a designated OpCo Value Stream. The leader will guide and elevate a team of Talent Business Partners while partnering closely with Value Stream leadership and HR Business Partners to ensure workforce planning, leadership development, and organizational capability decisions enable growth, operational excellence, innovation, and long-term competitive advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Gore Medical HR Leader, HR Leadership Team, and Gore Medical Leadership Team to translate business strategy and value stream priorities into an integrated talent strategy aligned with growth, margin, innovation, and operational objectives.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent management strategy that strengthens leadership pipelines, workforce capabilities, and long-term organizational performance.

  • Partner with Value Stream leaders and HR Business Partners to align talent strategies with business priorities, identifying critical capability gaps and deploying build, buy, or borrow strategies to address them.

  • Establish and scale a high-impact Talent Partner operating model across Gore Medical, ensuring Talent Business Partners operate as strategic advisors to value stream leadership teams.

  • Lead, develop, and elevate a team of Talent Business Partners, setting clear expectations and performance standards focused on measurable business outcomes.

  • Strengthen succession pipelines for key leadership and critical roles by driving rigor and consistency in succession planning and talent review processes across the OpCo and value streams.

  • Design and implement career development frameworks and leadership development initiatives that build capabilities across emerging, mid-level, and senior leaders.

  • Partner with Enterprise and OpCo leaders to deploy learning and development programs and anticipate future capability needs to proactively address talent risks.

  • Establish and monitor talent metrics and KPIs to evaluate effectiveness, inform decision-making, and represent Gore Medical talent priorities in Enterprise initiatives, including digital HR platforms and process enhancements

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in talent management, learning and development, or organizational effectiveness.

  • 3+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams.

  • Demonstrated experience designing and scaling leadership development and talent programs within complex, high-growth organizations.

  • Senior-level HR or Talent leadership experience with the ability to align talent strategy to business priorities and outcomes.

  • Proven experience identifying, evaluating, and managing external vendor partnerships, including assessing financial impact and program effectiveness.

  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable talent solutions.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills with the ability to partner effectively across multiple leadership levels.

  • Familiarity with talent management and learning technology platforms; ability to leverage data and insights to inform talent decisions.

  • Ability to travel approximately 10–15%, as needed.

 

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed.  ​ Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.
