About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Operations Team Lead to join our PharmBIO team at our facility in Elkton, MD.  In this role, you will lead a team of customer support (CS)/order-to-cash (OTC) associates as well as support the business by performing the responsibilities of a customer support associate.  

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies. 


Pay and Benefits:

  • $105,000 - $132,000 per year

Responsibilities

Team Lead Responsibilities: 

  • Setting clear goals and metrics, and measures progress and productivity and managing weekly “daily” KPI management stand-up meetings with the team.
  • Ensuring proper resourcing for the CS and OTC teams according to the business needs
  • Drive functional excellence while actively developing associates and emerging leaders.
  • Leading by example by demonstrating best practices, fully utilizing existing tools, and developing efficiencies
  • Effectively handling and solving internal and external problems, escalations, and priority issues in the team

 

Sales Ops Resposibilities:

  • Creating and managing quotations, inquiries, proposals and tenders in a timely manner
  • Creating and managing sales orders from Order Entry through Invoicing
  • Partnering with sales associates to support the customer
  • Building strong customer relationships
  • Handling customer complaints/feedback in a timely and effective manner
  • Assisting and supporting in Accounts Receivable collections and customer forecast gathering

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales operations, including quoting, sales order processing, after-sales resolution (e.g., RMAs), and support of forecasting / S&OP
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, and manage performance issues
  • Ability to effectively develop individuals into broader responsibilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer relationship management
  • Ability understand business plans and strategy
  • Ability to travel up to 5%, occasionally domestic or international 1-2 times per year
