Aortic Field Sales Associate

We are looking for an Aortic Field Sales Associate to join our team in the Medical Products Division. In this role, you will sell and promote existing and new products in all areas and applications. You should be passionate about supporting state-of-the art products that are the highest quality in their class and be energized by working for a world-class manufacturer and collaborating on cross-functional teams.

 

 

This role will cover the territory of Iowa, Nebraska and Southern Minnesota; the candidate must reside in Des Moines, or surrounding areas.

 

 

This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations in Des Moines, Iowa or surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow the current business within the territory, develop business opportunities and maximize profitable sales by building on well-established relationships and acquiring new customers
  • Proactively build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders
  • Provide high level clinical and technical support in Gore Aortic Interventional procedures, working in the operating room or vascular interventional lab
  • Partner with hospital departments and educational centres of excellence to deliver clinical product training, product presentations and be accountable for your own investments budget
  • Analyse and understand the market to successfully plan objectives, strategies, and actions according to the business unit guidelines
  • Deal with a range of stakeholders within hospital administrations, including Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists and Purchasing Departments
  • Be an active member of a great and very experienced team

Required Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 3 years experience selling medical devices 
  • Proactive, self-motivated and an excellent relationship builder
  • Strong communication and commercial skills including the ability to negotiate and influence
  • Passionate about medical device sales, with natural team-playing qualities
  • Ability to become a specialist and a consultative partner for our customers
  • Ability to proactively plan, deliver and follow up with customers, with proven skills enabling you to prioritize and drive the business to success
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 70% and must reside in Des Moines, Iowa or surrounding areas 

 

Desired Qualifications

This role requires ongoing access to U.S. hospitals and compliance with facility-specific access policies (which may include a requirement to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated with one of the COVID-19 vaccines), vendor credentialing requirements including drug screening, background checks, immunization and training.

 

This position offers a remote work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.

 

Note: In the United States, restrictions exist for remote work from Alaska, Hawaii and Rhode Island.
