About the Role
We are looking for an Aortic Clinical Specialist Associate to join our Medical Products team. In this role, you will provide clinical expertise, technical support, and education to healthcare professionals to support vascular therapies and improve patient outcomes. You will collaborate with field sales associates and cross-functional teams to ensure effective product utilization and successful case execution.
This role will cover the Southeast territory, including Charleston, South Carolina; Florence, South Carolina; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and Savannah, Georgia.
This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations in Charleston, South Carolina; Florence, South Carolina; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and Savannah, Georgia or the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Support physicians with patient screening, case planning, and device selection
- Provide technical support during endovascular procedures, including aortic repair cases (e.g., EVAR and TEVAR)
- Troubleshoot complex clinical cases with healthcare teams
- Deliver training programs for clinical staff and internal partners
- Facilitate simulation-based training for physicians, nurses, and fellows
- Conduct hospital in-services to support product education and adoption
- Develop training materials for clinical and internal use
- Partner with field sales associates to support account needs and territory objectives
- Build relationships with healthcare professionals within the assigned territory
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, radiologic technology, life sciences, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical or medical device support role within nursing, radiologic technology, operating room, catheterization lab, or cardiovascular environments
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical, surgical, and interventional procedures and terminology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support multiple clinical activities
- Ability to support emergent cases, including on-call availability and work nights or weekends as needed
- Current, valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel up to 50%
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting aortic or endovascular procedures
This role requires ongoing access to U.S. hospitals and compliance with facility-specific access policies (which may include a requirement to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated with one of the COVID-19 vaccines), vendor credentialing requirements including drug screening, background checks, immunization and training.
This position offers a remote work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.
