About the Role

Gore is looking for a dedicated Peripheral Area Sales Manager to develop business opportunities and maximize profitable sales by building on well-established relationships and acquiring new customers. Emilia Romagna e Toscana will be your territory, where you will be accountable for all aspects of managing business, including full account responsibility, accurate sales forecasting and monitoring and allocation of investment budgets. This involves the frequent support of physicians during interventional procedures, managing local agents, networking with distributors, as well as attending international and regional events and congresses. Your ability to apply your solid knowledge of business fundamentals and hospitals organization will help you in your dealings with public and private hospital’s administrations and their purchasing departments.

Responsibilities

  • Full ownership for maximising sales and ensuring market penetration with the existing business as well as activelypursuing new customers and developing new opportunities
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and physician customers
  • Coordinate and implement local sales promotion activities
  • Gain recognition as a go-to person at Gore and as a product expert
  • Attend international and regional trade fairs and congresses
  • Partner closely with the Italian Sales Leader, Product Specialists and Strategic Marketers to achieve the annual revenue forecast
  • Ability to support new product introduction and local marketing initiatives

 

Required Qualifications

  • Background in vascular medical sales, with the ability to work consultatively and collaboratively with medical professional
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in medical device Areas
  • Clinical experience in the catheter laboratory or operating theatre, ideally supporting vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, interventional cardiologist or nephrologist
  • University degree in biomedical engineering, medical Science or similar qualification.
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and drive the business to success
  • Natural team-playing qualities able to interacting with associates across Europe on a regular basis
  • Willingness to travel 75% of the time
  • Written and verbal fluency in Italian and English is required
