About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Specialist to join our Peripheral Medical Devices Team in Italy, with specific responsibilities ineducation, technical support and market development, in close collaboration with sales and marketing teams. 

Responsibilities

  • As a Clinical Specialist you will provide clinical case support for our highly regarded and market leading Peripheral endovascular products across Italy, with a specific focus on Noth Italy and this Region: Piedmont, Liguria, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany. 
  • As a Clinical Specialist you will consult with vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists, having the responsibility for reading CT films, case planning, device sizing and support the deployment of our products during complex medical procedures in Theatre.
  • As a Sales Trainer you will have the responsibility for product training, working closely with hospital staff and Gore Sales Team, increasing Technical and Clinical Skills and building strong relations. 
  • As a product expert, you will become a key contact for our customers and Gore Sales team. Together with the Sales team, you will be able to develop strategy, to increase the perception of Gore Brand and optimize the indication for our products.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree, ideally in Medical science or Biomedical Engineering.
  • 3 – 4 years of experience working in the implantable medical device industry and proven clinical skills within the operating theatre or Cath lab.
  • You possess a genuine clinical interest and are committed to successful patient outcomes.
  • As a team player you will interact regularly with the sales team and work effectively with a broad group of highly diverse individuals.
  • Importantly you will show real flexibility, combined with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication skills in Italian and English.
  • The role requires extensive weekly travel up to 90% within Italy.
