About the Role

We are seeking a Warehouse Shipping & Receiving associate to join our Logistics team. While part of the broader Logistics function, this role will primarily focus on operations within the Boxing Area, supporting both Roll Goods and Chroma business units.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently. This position involves frequent collaboration with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales Operations to ensure seamless processes and deliver an exceptional customer experience.The hours for this commitment are 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for overtime as needed. 

 

This position will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland. 

 

Pay and Benefits:

  • $21 - $28 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to safety protocols for the area and the plant
  • Follow appropriate work instructions
  • Prioritize workload
  • Move finished goods from transition room
  • Box finished goods for stock or for Sales Orders
  • Use systems as needed (ERP, MES, Agile PLM, eLearn Training)
  • Use material handling equipment – ex. standup forklift
  • Partner with other functions as needed (i.e. Manufacturing Team, Quality Team, Inside Sales)
  • Perform inventory transactions
  • Execute cycle counts
  • Cross-train in other processes as needed within the EM2 Logistics team 

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated computer system experience (ERP, Word, Excel) 
  • Can bend and lift repetitively (<35 LB), as required to support the operation
  • Customer-service oriented, and exceptional time management skills
  • Basic math & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift 50 LB
  • A strong attention to detail and prioritization
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Must be flexible to meet business needs, including working overtime when needed
  • Willingness to complete forklift training and operate other material handling equipment 

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment
  • Experience in a regulated environment
