About the Role
We are looking for a Web Product Owner to join our Commerical IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the vision, roadmap, and prioritization of all enhancements, maintenance, and integrations related to GoreMedical.com and the SSO/CIAM capability. This role will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined and delivered efficiently.
This position offers flexible work arrangement options, including on-site at our facility in Flagstaff, Arizona, or Elkton, Maryland, hybrid or fully remote in most locations within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate product vision and strategy for global websites and enabling web technologies
- Serve as the primary point contact to vendor and partner teams for product-related questions and decisions during development cycles
- Rationalize incoming demand and maintain a clear, prioritized product backlog aligned to business and user needs
- Guide backlog refinement and planning to ensure work is well defined, prioritized, and ready for delivery
- Facilitate alignment across Marketing, IT, Legal, Privacy, and Security partners to support timely and compliant delivery
- Define requirements and acceptance criteria to ensure solutions deliver meaningful value for users and stakeholders
- Make informed decisioning regarding product features, trade-offs, and releases using data, insights, and stakeholder input
- Establish and monitor product success measures to inform priorities, decisions, and outcomes
- Promote continuous improvement by incorporating feedback from retrospectives, analytics insights, and stakeholder input into the product roadmap to improve user experience and business outcomes
- Ensure solutions align with security best practices and applicable regulatory and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in web product development
- Experience in pharma, medical device or regulated healthcare industries
- Experience in agile development methodologies (Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Release Train Engineer certification preferred)
- Proven track record of delivering successful web products from conception to launch
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities (with both technical and non-technical audiences), including demonstrated capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively across diverse stakeholders
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) and multilingual site management
- Knowledge of cloud hosting environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Pantheon, Acquia)
- Understanding of customer identity management and single-signed on experiences
This position offers a remote work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.
