About the Role

We are looking for a Sr Web Quality Assurance Analyst to join our GMDIT team in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will be responsible for testing different Drupal features, security updates and bug fixes to ensure they meet the required quality standards and specifications. In addition, you will design and execute test plans, identify and document defects, and collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, architects and vendor/partners to deliver robust digital solutions supporting multiple business units and global sites. This is an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic agile team, expand your expertise across web technologies, and help shape our digital transformation journey.  

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with internal stakeholders and vendor/partner teams to continuously improve processes to drive efficiencies. 

• Analyzes and refines user stories and requirements with the team.   

• Creates and executes test cases according to the user stories.   

• Assists in the development, maintenance, and execution of automated test scripts using relevant tools and frameworks. 

• Identifies and replicate defects and retest once addressed. 

• Performs integration, regression and usability testing across multiple browsers and devices.   

• Checks software behavior across different devices, browsers and operating systems using BrowserStack tool (compatibility testing).   

• Participates in release management, including smoke testing and validation of production deployments.   

• Stays current with Drupal updates, QA methodologies, and web technologies. 

• Maintains accurate testing documentation and contributes to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices. 

Required Qualifications

• 5-10 years of demonstrated experience with Drupal-related quality assurance support activities.   

• Strong understanding of Drupal content management system architecture and modules.   

• Experience with web testing including forms and integrations.  

• Experience with BrowserStack (compatibility testing) and X-Ray (test management integrated with JIRA). 

• Familiarity with Accessibility Testing i.e. WCAG (not mandatory).   

• Experience with Drupal site building and theming. 

• Experience collaborating using Agile development methodologies.   

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities (with both technical and non-technical audiences), including demonstrated capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively across diverse stakeholders.   

• Travel ~10%. 

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in Medical Device, Pharma, or regulated industries preferred.  

• Certifications in software testing or Drupal development considered a plus. 

• Understanding of Customer Identity Solutions including PING, Microsoft Entra considered a plus. 

• Understanding of SEO best practices as they relate to web QA.
